Well there’s nothing profound about it. Pretty much I wanted to get some experience working with HTML and at the same time I was not feeling facebook anymore. Oh, not to mention I wanted to create some kind of photo album for my trip to Europe this last term.

So there you have it. I’m new to this blog thing. Some things will just be writing about things I notice and want to comment (or rant) about, some things will be personal and probably of no interest of you. It’s not going to be anything riveting. Just a bit of my everyday life. It’s probably going to be overwhelmingly full of me commenting on stuff I want to talk about. (I can be a bit opinionated~). If your interested, go for it, but I’m going to bet that its not going to be an amazing day to day attraction!

Overall I want to do my best not to butter things up like facebook. Hey, here’s a secret, I’m not a perfect person and definitely no renaissance man. So I don’t really see a point in painting an unrealistically glamorous picture, that would just make the real me disappointing in comparison!

I’ve found that making this website is kind of like writing a rough draft for my life. (side note: I do these kind of metaphors a lot, I’m not trying to get philosophical here…) So you know when you get started on a paper you have all of these thoughts in your head but they aren’t very coherent. As you start putting things down you see how things connect and things become a bit more organized. Or at least thats how I write papers. Haha. The point is that there is not ultimate point to spending time making this website, the reason I do is that it I come to realizations here and there because I do. Besides, I like to keep tabs on myself
