SIGNS is indeed the worst movie, ever created.
I know this was years ago, but it popped up again when I was scoping amazon ‘best’ lists. It was on a list with requiem for a dream, blasphemy! Then I went over to rotten tomatoes….rated it a 75%. Troy was rated a 55%. This is one of those movies that I am angry that people like. I get that people are retarded in general (see: RAW nation), but it still frustrates me…
Why Signs is the worst movie:
1. It’s not suppose to be ridiculous (the clause that gets most shitty movies out of criticism)
2. The plot is empty.
3. The plot makes no sense
4. It’s incredibly slow, the single scenery is not made up for with anything
5. Aliens can fly across the galaxy, defeat armies around the world, but the wooden door stops them, eh? Are you even trying, Mel?
6. So, they are hurt by water…I see…so there is no water in the atmosphere
….or in the dew of the fields they seem to love running through
If it was a stupid horror movie…OK, but it wasn’t even good for that. It was slow and dreary. Why Gibson, why.

but at least thats over with. I’m not OLCC certified to serve alcohol
Got versed on all the many ways I can get sued, and paid 63 bucks for wasting 5 hours of my life. Great.
Got some pretty sweet housing possibilities on the horizon, turned in an application today. Very close to the school, going to suck actually paying rent, as opposed to my current free-situation, haha. Look forward to a house-warming party this summer…followed by a sweet 21er!
Update: Added some political views to my personal interests page

Well first of all, not celebrating the day, and still wondering why the day 4/20 was chosen
People were bitches tonight at work, it didn’t go well fro the very beginning. On some night we have 2 waiters and we switch off, I quickly got pissed off because every time it was my turn I got 1-2 people…or 3 people and 1 wasn’t eating. Every time she got 4 people who got 3 appetizers and everything! Gah! Buddha says ‘Do not envy others’…but it is really hard ;P Then it went downhill from there…sometimes things just don’t flow well(when people are slow/tedious in ordering…come all at once)
Tomorrow is a 12 hour day, hope it goes better than last night.

What a nice day out today, nothing particular is going outstanding in life, but nothing particularly bad either.
So I couldn’t help the urge to smile on the way to class today. Which is, by the way, the second best kind of smiling–when you don’t have a specific reason to be.
The best of course, is being happy despite something sucking

I was invited to two VT support groups, I declined, not because I don’t grieve for them, but because I believe the best way to grieve for the lost is to look after the living.
I then looked for a group to join that supported gun control, to my dismay in a social networking site dominated by youth, the majority of groups I found were “Gun Control: Use Two Hands.”
I do not have the position where guns should be totally outlawed at this point, but I do have a compromise we should all be able to agree on.
The banning of semi-automatic guns does not infringe upon the rights guaranteed by the 2nd amendment. There is absolutely no reason anyone should be permitted to own one of these guns outside of law enforcement, no matter how many permits they obtain.
You know what really terrifying? If this guy was a little more patient, it is perfectly legal to obtain a fully-automatic machine gun in the state of Virginia and many others, including Oregon.
I hate the cast blame, but my bitterness forces me too at this point. Congratulations NRA, I hope VTech was exactly what you were hoping for. I can tell you one thing, NRA lobbyists won’t be doing any mourning anytime soon, they will be too busy scrambling to maintain conservative gun laws.
