5.17 I love Bill O’Riely

May 17th, 2007 by admin

He never ceases to crack me up. I stopped viewing him with disgust, now I view him as the Seven Colbert of the news networks…so blatantly ridiculous sarcasm.

I’m a moderate, but despite my attempts to view him as sarcastic…the views he holds terrify me. Much in the way I wonder how anyone can think like some Muslims do (the honor killings, beating women).

Funny fact? Fair and balanced Fox News….sponsored the Republic Debate the other night. The other sponsor? the Republican National Committee. Guess they stopped their whole charade finally, thank god. I’d be so OK with Fox News as an alternative viewpoint…if only they would remove the ‘Fair and Balanced” tagline.

5.16 Home Sweet Home

May 16th, 2007 by admin

Its not a bad place at $275 a month. A lot of trees around which will make it colder in the summer… but kinds covers the house. Which is why I excluded the front ‘yard’ from the pic…you can hardly see the house with the trees.

They are putting in hardwood floors and new carpeting throughout the house, which is sweet! Much easier to clean…and the carpet is less hideous than the baby blue grandma stuff it had.

img_0989.jpg

My room is decent size…I think I can manage a full size bed in there. I sure as hell am not going back to a twin.

img_0992.jpg

Downside is the backyard….a pine needle yard with no sunlight. Definitely going to make me less inclined to go to the house this summer.

Most likely won’t be moving in until August. Its still pretty tempting…given its my first house. Doesn’t make sense because my current situation is fine, don’t need the extra privacy or anything. (not that 4 guys in a 3 bedroom is going to be…not cramped). Still. Nice to be done with dealing with god damn realtors, at least for a year.

5.15 Sixteen kids.

May 15th, 2007 by admin

Late night TV watching…switched over to “Kids by the Dozen” on a channel I rarely get to, TLC. Essentially its about a family with 16 kids. They were grateful about hand me down clothes and such but were semi-joking about hoping for donations to help. Now I couldn’t help but think, well if you didn’t want to struggle for money, why in the hell did you have 16 kids? I guess if you can’t start a business, build a genetic empire? That other show Little People, I found a bit strange and condescending…but its an involuntary condition. These other people are just stupid.

In other news, signing a lease for a house on Wednesday. Won’t be moving in until August because it doesn’t make much sense seeing that I work in Beaverton. Nice to have a house though…can still chill there during the summer, maybe throw a party or two ;)

5.12 Do you know your credit score?

May 12th, 2007 by admin

That poor guy who does those commercials….so annoying. Almost as bad as the Office Space guy doing that Direct TV baseball pitcher commercial, how embarrassing!

Checked my credit score today, 743 out of 830. Didn’t like giving all of my info..but it seemed legit. I’m way to curious…like waiting for test results on a quiz, hah.

It says my current employer is Hearthstone still, ahah!

In other news, I pretty much wasted my day, I got off work at 2ish, then shoveled some compost for the grass we’re planting, which was good, but after that I was too tired to do anything, but not tired enough to sleep. so, 5 hours later, here I am, still tired, and still having accomplished nothing but watching Return of the King. Ah, TV movies, you don’t necessarily want to watch them, but once their on, despite knowing the ending, you can’t turn them off.

5.11 Ugh

May 12th, 2007 by admin

I don’t know what it is about Big Reds on a Friday night which attracts white trash like a WWE match. Not saying just poor people. White trash doesn’t mean your poor, its an attitude which is often associated with being poor. Being poor doesn’t necessitate you being trash.

Not to mention they are twice as hard to deal with, never tip, and are generally annoying people. Unfortunately, this is what I have to deal with, the asshole of society. Hell, I’d rather they not tip. . .if in exchange they would just not breed like rabbits. OK, I’d be a little happier if they would not name their kids things like “Patience(real name)” or not give their kids absolutely hideous haircuts. I saw this kid tonight with a buzz cut, but with about a two inch wide chunk of hair from the middle of his head down to his eyes.

Gotta suck it up and keep with the job, eventually I won’t get shitty shifts and maybe I’ll get to bartend sooner or later… :)

5.9 Shorts and a T-shirt

May 9th, 2007 by admin

Loving this weather, part of the reason I’m seriously thinking that I won’t be in Oregon all my life..as I once thought I would be. I’m going somewhere sunny! My tolerance for the heat increased after being in Greece for 10 days, hah.

I was tanning yesterday at the Slyvania campus, haha, yes, tanning. There’s a lot of remote grass area, and everyone was inside so I didn’t have to worry about showing off my hairy chest~ Still don’t get why everyone was eating inside…

The downside is that it gets a whole lot harder to be single around this season ;) Lots of girls at PCC with a lot less clothing than they used to wear, hah! Damn couples laying on the grass and all…oh well, my time will come~ for now, my book will be my loyal companion on the grass
