The ominous day that arrives at the end of a hot week in September…when you wake up and put on shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops, go to class, and freeze you fucking ass off.

Guess I’ll be packing up my shorts and such, sad times~ On the bright side….I won’t have to wait until March for some more sun, because its sunny in Guatemala this December!

It feels like 7pm and its not even 4.

I have a strange sense that something bad is about to happen…various disconcerning omens. I’m not typically superstitious at all. Perhaps its just the rather ominous day that it is. I just feel like somethings about to come to a head. I’m writing this down so If I’m right I have proof

In other news I’m totally over my head, not used to full time classes and full time reading. That, along with work on weekends, makes me fall one step behind every week. Perhaps I should be lightening my load and quitting work, or put off this Guatemala trip. But knowing myself…I wont. Things will come together, just barely, as usual~

Don’t know why it took me so long, but I got the pictures up on facebook now. How I managed to take good pictures with that much alcohol in my system, I have no idea. Apparently cognizance and picture aiming are not as correlated as I once thought.

As it turns out there’s a guys lacrosse team at U of Portland, which is awesome. Just sawed off my broken long stick, all ready for fall ball. (You can’t use defense poles in fall indoor leagues). I’m anxious to learn more about it. I assumed it was club, but perhaps its intramural, which is fine. I thought they said we were playing Western Oregon though….

Definitely pleasant news, it’ll be a driving factor to keep myself in shape.
